Genspark offers three membership tiers to suit different needs:

  • Free Plan — Basic access with standard features
  • Plus Plan — Enhanced features and higher credit allocation
  • Pro Plan — Professional-level access and resources

Subscription Management

How to Subscribe

Follow these simple steps to subscribe:

  1. Go to the Plan page (click here), choose your preferred plan and billing cycle, and click Upgrade
    • Monthly plan — billed each month
    • Annual plan — billed as a lump sum for the full year upfront (saves ~20% compared to monthly); credits are issued on a monthly basis throughout the year
  2. On the Stripe payment page, enter your payment details securely
  3. Confirm your subscription
  4. You'll be redirected back to Genspark
  5. Invoice email will be sent to your payment email shortly

Subscribing on mobile? You can also subscribe directly from the Genspark iOS or Android app. Tap your profile icon, choose a plan, and complete your purchase through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). See Mobile Subscriptions for details.

Changing Plans

You can modify your subscription plan at any time from the Plan page (click here) — including switching between Free, Plus, and Pro plans or adjusting other aspects of your current plan.

Upgrading your plan (e.g., Plus → Pro, or monthly → annual):

  • Takes effect immediately
  • You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period
  • Supplemental credits (the difference between your new and old plan's monthly credits) are added to your account right away, valid through the end of your current billing period
  • Starting from your next billing cycle, the full credit allocation of your new plan applies

Example: If your Plus monthly plan renews on March 1 and you upgrade to Pro on March 15, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remaining ~16 days of March. Your account will also immediately receive the supplemental credits (the difference between Pro and Plus monthly credit allocations), valid through March 31. Starting April 1, you'll receive the full Pro credit allocation on each renewal.

Downgrading your plan (e.g., Pro → Plus, or annual → monthly):

  • Your current plan remains active through the end of your current billing period
  • The new plan takes effect on your next renewal date
  • Credits are not carried over; your credit allocation resets to the new plan's amount at the start of the next billing cycle

Example: If your Pro plan renews on April 1 and you request a downgrade to Plus on March 15, your Pro benefits remain fully active through March 31. On April 1, your plan switches to Plus and your credit balance resets to the Plus monthly allocation — unused Pro credits are not carried over.

Changing plans on mobile? If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you can upgrade or downgrade from the plan page in the Genspark app — the payment will be processed by your app store. See Mobile Subscriptions for details.

Having Trouble Upgrading?

If you see an error when trying to upgrade your subscription, here's what the messages mean and how to resolve them:

  • "Your card was declined" — Your bank declined the charge. Contact your bank to authorize the payment, or try a different card.
  • "Your card has insufficient funds" — Your card doesn't have enough balance for the upgrade charge. Add funds or use a different card, then try again.
  • "Your card has expired" — The card on file is no longer valid. Update your payment method, then retry the upgrade.
  • "Your bank requires additional verification" — Your bank requires additional authentication (3D Secure). Click Update payment method to re-enter your card details — you'll be prompted to complete verification during that process. Once verified, return to the plan page and retry the upgrade.

To update your payment method, click Update payment method in the error message, or click the Manage dropdown on the Plan page (click here) and choose Edit Billing / Payment Method. Both will take you to your billing portal where you can add or update your card.

If you continue to see errors after updating your payment method, please contact our support team for assistance.

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Plan page (click here). Click the Manage dropdown and choose Cancel Subscription.

  • After canceling, your current plan remains active through the end of your billing period — you won't lose access right away
  • Once the billing period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan
  • If you change your mind, you can reactivate your subscription at any time before the period ends to continue without interruption

Canceling a mobile subscription? If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through your device's subscription settings — canceling on the Genspark website will not affect a mobile subscription. See Mobile Subscriptions for details.

Membership Transfer

Subscriptions are tied to the Genspark account you were logged into at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred to another account.

If you need to switch to a different account, you can cancel your subscription on the current account and purchase a new subscription on the account you'd like to use.

Mobile Subscriptions

You can subscribe to Genspark Plus or Pro directly from the Genspark mobile app:

  • iOS — Purchase through the App Store's in-app purchase dialog
  • Android — Purchase through Google Play (payment method may vary by region)

Important notes about mobile subscriptions:

  • Mobile subscriptions are managed separately from web subscriptions — you cannot manage a mobile-purchased subscription from the web, and vice versa
  • You can only have one active subscription platform at a time. If you already have a web subscription and try to subscribe on mobile (or vice versa), the app will notify you of the conflict
  • To manage or cancel a mobile subscription, use your device's subscription settings (App Store settings on iOS, or Google Play subscriptions on Android)
  • Payment details and invoices for mobile purchases are handled by the respective app store, not through Stripe or the Genspark billing portal

Genspark Claw

Genspark Claw runs on Genspark Cloud Computer for deployment. To use Genspark Claw, you'll need an active Genspark Cloud Computer subscription.

Genspark Cloud Computer currently offers three subscription tiers:

Credits usage (important): Cloud Computer provides the runtime environment, and some Claw actions may use Genspark credits. Credits are shared and managed in one place across Genspark. If you need more credits, you can upgrade to a Plus or Pro plan. Credit usage varies based on the task type, the agent you use, and the specific features involved. To get more credits, you can upgrade your membership (e.g., Free → Plus/Pro) or increase your credit tier if you're already a Plus/Pro subscriber.

You may cancel your Genspark Cloud Computer subscription at any time. Please note that your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current subscription period. Once it takes effect, the Cloud Computer will be reclaimed and all data stored on it will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered, so please back up any critical data before cancelling.

Payment & Billing

The payment and billing information below applies to web subscriptions processed through Stripe. If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, your payment details, invoices, and billing are managed by the respective app store. See Mobile Subscriptions for details.

Payment Security

We use Stripe to handle transactions. Your raw payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers. Industry-standard security protocols protect your data throughout the payment process.

Finding Your Invoice

Your payment receipt will be automatically sent to the billing email address you provided at the time of purchase. If you do not see it in your inbox, kindly check your spam or promotions folder as well.

You can access your billing portal at any time from the Plan page (click here). Click the Manage dropdown and choose Edit Billing / Payment Method to view past invoices and manage your payment details.

Update Payment Method

To update your payment method, go to the Plan page (click here). Click ManageEdit Billing / Payment Method — this will open your billing portal where you can add or change your card.

Understanding the Final Price

The displayed price reflects the base membership rate. Genspark does not charge any fees beyond this amount. However, your final payment may be slightly higher due to charges from third parties:

  • Sales tax (VAT / GST) — Collected by local tax authorities based on your region; Genspark has no control over this amount
  • Currency conversion fees — Applied by your bank when paying in a currency other than USD
  • Foreign transaction fees — Charged by your bank or card issuer for cross-border transactions

These additional charges, if any, are collected by your bank or tax authority — not by Genspark.

When Payment Fails

We don't charge until the payment process succeeds. You can try again with the same or different payment method. No charges will appear on your account until successful payment is confirmed.

This should not happen. If it does, please try the following first:

Common cause: You may have entered a different email on the Stripe payment page. That email is only used for receiving invoices — your subscription is linked to the Genspark account you were logged into when you started checkout. Try logging in with your original Genspark registration email, then refresh the page and check your plan status again.

If the issue persists, please contact our support team by clicking Support in the menu, and provide the following details:

  • Your name
  • Your Genspark login email
  • The email used for payment (if different from your login email)
  • Invoice

Do NOT include sensitive information such as:

  • Credit card numbers
  • Home address
  • Other personal financial details

Refunds & Cancellations

Refund Policy

Our refund policy varies depending on subscription type, local laws, and account status. Please note that we cannot process a second refund request after the first refund request has been approved. This applies to Plus/Pro memberships and subscriptions to Genspark Cloud Computer. For customers in the EU, UK, or Turkey: You are eligible for a refund if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. Please specify in your request that you are requesting a refund from the EU, UK, or Turkey.

All other customers:

  • Monthly subscriptions: You can request a refund within 24 hours after the purchase
  • Annual subscriptions: You can request a refund within 72 hours after the purchase

If our system detects excessive use of the service prior to a refund request, the request may be rejected. This includes using a large portion of a subscription or quota.

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund within the eligible period, please provide the following information:

  • Your Genspark login email
  • The email used for payment (if different from your login email)
  • Invoice (PDF format)
  • Reasons for requesting a refund

Duplicate request notice: Please send only one email per refund request. Multiple emails about the same request may delay processing. All requests are handled in the order received.

Processing time: Once we receive these details, we will process your full refund within 7 business days.

No exceptions: Please note that refund requests must be submitted within your applicable eligibility window as outlined in our refund policy. Late requests cannot be processed under any circumstances.

About Unlimited Access

Plus and Pro plans include unlimited access to AI Chat Agent and AI Image Agent, with zero credit cost. "Unlimited" means there are no monthly quotas, no credit limits, and no caps to hit.

To keep Genspark fast, fair, and reliable for everyone, we have guardrails in place to prevent abuse.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Automatically or programmatically extracting data in bulk
  • Sharing your account credentials or making your account available to others
  • Reselling access or using Genspark to power third-party services

As part of these guardrails, we currently apply session-based rate limits within a defined time window. Most users won't run into these during normal use. Once the window resets, you get your full usage back, with no cap on how often this repeats. When you hit the limit, you'll get a notification, and access will pause until the next reset.

FAQ

Q: Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes. You can switch directly from the Plan page (click here) — no need to cancel and resubscribe. Choose the billing interval you'd like to switch to and confirm.

  • Monthly → Annual: The switch takes effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the price difference.
  • Annual → Monthly: The switch is scheduled for your next billing cycle. You'll continue on the annual plan until the current period ends, then automatically switch to monthly billing.

Q: Can I upgrade from Plus to Pro?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and you'll be charged a prorated amount for the price difference covering the rest of your current billing period.

Q: What happens to my credits when I upgrade?

It depends on whether your billing interval changes:

  • Same billing interval (e.g., Plus Monthly → Pro Monthly): You keep your existing credits, and additional credits equal to the difference between the two plans are added immediately for the remainder of your current billing period.
  • Billing interval change (e.g., Plus Monthly → Pro Annual): Your unused credits from the previous plan are revoked, and a full set of credits under the new plan is issued starting immediately.

Q: What happens when I cancel?

Your subscription is not terminated immediately. Your current plan and credits remain fully active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan (100 daily credits). You can reactivate at any time before the period ends to continue without interruption.

Q: How do I get more credits?

The most straightforward way is to upgrade your plan. Both Plus and Pro offer multiple credit tiers — upgrading to a higher tier gives you more monthly credits. You can view available tiers and upgrade from the Plan page (click here).

Q: Can I use AI-generated content for commercial purposes?

Yes. All Genspark Plus and Pro subscribers are granted commercial use rights for AI-generated content created during their active subscription period. This covers content generated across Genspark's AI tools, including images, video, audio, and other outputs.

Commercial use rights are guaranteed through December 31, 2026 as part of your Plus or Pro membership benefits. For content created after that date, please refer to the latest terms on the plan page.
