Genspark Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Genspark Community is a place to share what you are building, learn from other users, exchange ideas, and connect with people around the world. These Guidelines apply to posts, comments, profiles, chapters, events, reactions, private messages, and other Community activity.
They do not cover every possible situation. Genspark may consider context, severity, intent, impact, history, and applicable law when deciding what action to take.
1. Be respectful and constructive
- Treat others with respect, even when you disagree.
- Do not harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, shame, stalk, or coordinate abuse against another person.
- Do not attack people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or another protected characteristic.
- Keep criticism focused on ideas, products, and work, not individual characteristics.
2. Be authentic
- Use your real name and accurate profile information. If you represent an organization, identify that relationship accurately.
- Do not impersonate another person or organization, create deceptive profiles, manipulate engagement, or falsely claim credentials, affiliation, endorsement, or authorship.
- Do not use AI or edited media to mislead others.
3. Protect privacy and confidential information
- Do not share another person's private information, private messages, images, recordings, or personal data without permission. Do not republish content from a private Community space outside its intended audience.
- Never post passwords, access tokens, financial account details, government identifiers, precise private locations, or other sensitive information.
- Do not threaten to expose private information or encourage others to locate or contact someone.
4. Share only content you are allowed to share
- Post your own work or content you have permission to use and license.
- Respect copyright, trademark, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, and other rights.
- Do not remove rights notices, watermarks, provenance signals, or attribution from another person's work.
- Use Genspark's copyright-reporting process for alleged infringement.
5. Remix responsibly
- Only content posted in a public Community space may be remixed, and only as described in the Genspark Terms of Service.
- Use Genspark's features to create a genuine remix or new output. Do not download and redistribute another user's source content in an unchanged or substantially unchanged form unless that user separately permits it.
- Give reasonable credit to the source creator in the manner Genspark specifies or makes technically available, preserve any attribution or provenance information automatically included by Genspark, and do not falsely claim that you created the source content.
6. Be transparent about AI-generated content
- Do not present synthetic or materially manipulated content as authentic when doing so could deceive or harm others.
- Use labels or disclosures required by Genspark as appropriate in context.
- Do not remove or hide AI labels, watermarks, metadata, or other provenance information.
7. No illegal, dangerous, or exploitative content
- Do not promote or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, scams, malware, unauthorized access, violence, self-harm, sexual exploitation, trafficking, or the sale of regulated or prohibited goods.
- Do not post sexual content involving minors or content that exploits or endangers a child.
- Do not provide instructions intended to cause real-world harm or evade lawful safeguards.
8. No spam or abusive promotion
- Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, deceptive, or unsolicited promotions.
- Do not use the Community primarily for lead generation, mass messaging, affiliate spam, fake engagement, or traffic manipulation.
- Relevant self-promotion is permitted when it adds genuine value, is accurately described, and does not overwhelm the conversation.
9. Keep the Community useful
- Post in the appropriate space and stay reasonably on topic.
- Do not intentionally spread materially false information, fabricate evidence, or manipulate Community features.
- Do not scrape, harvest, or collect Community data except as expressly permitted by Genspark.
- Do not interfere with the Community, moderation tools, accounts, or security.
10. Work with moderators
- Follow reasonable directions from Genspark and authorized Community Moderators.
- Do not evade warnings, restrictions, or suspensions; retaliate against a reporter or moderator; or misuse reporting and appeal systems.
- Community Moderators must act in good faith, avoid conflicts, protect confidential information, use their tools only as authorized, keep required records, and promptly escalate safety, legal, intellectual-property, doxxing, and appeal matters to Genspark.
- The Community is intended only for those aged 18 years and above. Any user below the age of 18 is not eligible to be a member of the Community. If you know, or suspect, that a minor is a member of the Community, please get in touch at [email protected].
